Brunei-Suzuki

In 1909, Michio Suzuki founded the Suzuki Loom Company in the small seacoast village of Hamamatsu, Japan. Business boomed as Suzuki built weaving looms for Japan's giant silk industry. Suzuki's only desire was to build better, more user-friendly looms.

My current mods:

1). Plug Cable + Gold spring : B$255.00
2). Custom Iridium NGK Plug 7 : B$120.00
3). Voltage Stabilizer (VS+1) : B$145.00

Total: B$520 (excluding labour charge & shipping)

p/s: as u know, my swift is the slowest among all swifters due to some problems (yg aku sndiri nda tau la). I hardly reach 140km/h... *labut2 la tu* ehehe... but recently, I have found out that one of my spark plug is 'damage' again *baru jua ku masang tahun lapas*, 2 kali dh ku complain and minta tukar baru. Alhamdulilah, nyaman jua kn bjalan atu....

So, maksud ku ani, f ku dpt response after the above mods, maybe bcoz aku 'sakai', baru th mrasa kn laju atu ehehehehe... lol!

bah more to come... *kes boreng ku nie* Twisted Evil

My Car Maintenance
Post Fri Oct 09, 2009 7:54 pm  azrul101
I will have my next servicing maybe by early November 2009.

This lubricant and ATF has attracted by attention the most...

1) Motul H-Tech 100 Plus 5W-30 [Fully Synthetic] = B$XX.XX (not yet confirm)

2) Motul ATF-A1 [Fully Synthetic] = B$57 per 2L

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Oh previously I have been using Shell Helix 20W-50* (yellow bottle) , Castrol Magnatec 10W-40, Liquimoly 5W-40, and Idemitsu 10W-40.

**I'll not recommend using Magnatec, dont know why**

But for my next servicing, I will be using 5W-30 *as per recommended in Swift Owner's Manual Book*

As for ATF, I am not that pretty sure because Suzuki recommend to use Genuine Suzuki ATF 3317 or Mobil ATF 3309.

From my survey in Boustead Sdn Bhd, Genuine Suzuki ATF 3317 will be around B$28/L and our swift requires about 2 Litres. So B$56 for 2 Litres. (excl. labour charge).

So have a safe driving, Swifters! flower

HKS CAI
Post Sat Oct 10, 2009 11:06 am  azrul101
Just wanna share quotation from SHH Proshop for Cold Air Intake (CAI),

HKS Reloaded Filter (small size) = B$220
Stainless Steel Pipe = B$120
Clamps (4pcsx5) = B$20
HKS Silicone Hose (adaptor) = B$65
HKS Silicone Hose (adaptor) = B$40

Total: B$465.00

**if u got much cheaper price, pls do inform me**

I used to have own custom-made steel CAI. Improved response instantly and produces 'chekom...chekom...' sound... ehehe rugged x ah¬ lol!

Of course, ur FC will be increase due to more air coming in to the engine for combustion *FC=Fuel Consumption*

But remember Swifters, we need COLD AIR, not HOT AIR. So try to mount ur CAI away from exhaust manifold, fan, or any radiator hoses that emitted heat. OR try to use HEAT SHIELD. (as u can see in HKS Racing Suction for SSS, Suzuki Sport, Simota, Monster Sport and etc etc.)

next topic will be.................. tunggu¬ cheers

Hi what hoses are these for?

My 2005 suzuki swift+ alternator was replaced and would like to re tune my engine and also some body works, been planning it for a long long time and just now have extra resources for it.

would like to change the headlights to HID and carbon fiber the hood and add a rear spoiler to it.
